Last night Stu and I had El Diablos along with our Taco Milagro takeout. A great combination!
The El Diablo is a fantastic tequila cocktail, especially if you are looking for an alternative to the Margarita. The Alchemist advises mixing this drink carefully, and we agree. In fact I would recommend going a little easy on the cassis and adding extra lime.
For each drink: 2 oz. Tequila, 1 oz creme de cassis (or slightly less, if you are close to an ounce don't add more), 2/3-3/4 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice. Stir together. Add mix to a collins glass with crushed ice and top off with ginger ale. Garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy!
